El documental conmemora el 150 aniversario del nacimiento de Mariano Fortuny y el 100 aniversario de la creación de la Fábrica Fortuny en Venecia.
El pasado lunes 7 de noviembre tuvo lugar el estreno de la película documental sobre el artista granadino Mariano Fortuny ‘El Universo En Una Caja’ en la Casa de América de Madrid.
Al estreno acudió la actriz Nerea Barros espectacularmente vestida por la diseñadora Pilar Dalbat, así como la diseñadora y experta en el creador granadino y, el director José Sánchez Montes. Juntos y a través de este documental han rendido tributo a la figura y obra del polifacético artista granadino Mariano Fortuny.
‘El Universo en una caja’ recoge totales de Pilar grabados en la Alhambra, lugar donde nació Mariano y su padre afirmó vivir los momentos más felices de su vida, e imágenes del trabajo artesanal llevado a cabo por su equipo en los talleres granadinos de la marca. También recursos de la presentación de su colección “Fortuny” Winter 2121 durante la semana de la Moda de Madrid (MBFWM) en Wizink Center. La actriz Nerea Barros (Goya a Mejor Actriz Revelación por “La isla mínima”) narra y conduce la historia en la película y su vestuario, que representa la figura de la mujer en el universo fortuniano, ha sido elaborado por el estudio Pilar Dalbat.
El documental, grabado en Paris, Granada y Venecia, está coproducido por Siesta Producciones y RTVE y cuenta con la participación de Canal Sur RTVA, además de expertos y especialistas como Guillermo de Osma, Eloy Martínez de la Pera o Mickey Riad hablan también del Da Vinci del siglo XIX.
Tras este estreno en Madrid la película documental se podrá ver en “Los Imprescindibles” de La 2 y habrá otro estreno en Nueva York.
